ZEERUST ACCIDENT CLAIMS FOUR LIVES 
MMABATHO – Four people have died instantly in a horrific accident on R49 near Ottoshoop outside Zeerust. The R49 is linking Zeerust and Mafikeng. Two sedans collided head on and the other vehicle caught fire on impact. Two men and one woman were burnt beyond recognition whilst the occupant of another vehicle was also declared deceased at the scene of the accident. Four other occupants who survived were taken to hospitals. The MEC for the North West Community Safety and Transport Management, Sello Lehari sent condolences to the family of the deceased and wishes speedy recovery to the injured.
